Delma Island is located 250 kilometres southwest, covering an area of 45 square kilometres. As the sole airfield on the island which houses a population of 10,000 people, ZDY plays a vital role in the island's development, connecting the local population to the UAE mainland with a convenient 45-minute flight to Abu Dhabi.
