Abu Dhabi, UAE – April 10, 2025 – Abu Dhabi Airports, operator of the emirate’s five commercial airports, and Bombardier, a global leader in aviation, are advancing their partnership with the establishment of a state-of-the-art service facility at Al Bateen Executive Airport. This strategic alliance underscores Abu Dhabi Airports’ commitment to becoming a premier global hub for aviation services, attracting leading industry players and driving economic growth in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The new Bombardier service facility, spanning approximately 11,000 sqm, will provide comprehensive maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) capabilities for Bombardier business aircraft, including the highly anticipated Global 8000. This significant investment will not only cater to Bombardier's growing customer base in the Middle East but also elevate the overall MRO landscape in Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

The addition of Bombardier's service facility at Al Bateen Executive Airport will further enhance Abu Dhabi Airports' already impressive aviation offerings. In 2024, Al Bateen Executive Airport witnessed a 30.8% increase in passenger traffic, welcoming 375,726 travellers through its gates.
