Abu Dhabi Airports has become one of only four airport groups in the world to have been awarded the ISO 22301:2012 Business Continuity Management System Certification, following an external audit.
ISO certifications are an international benchmark highlighting good business practice. This certificate has been awarded in recognition of the steps that the company has taken to implement processes which will provide continuity across all operations during disruptive events.
The fact that Abu Dhabi Airports and only three other airport groups in the world have been given this ISO certification is testament to the fact that we operate to the very highest international standards, and that the company is extremely well prepared to handle any disruptive events, and keep operations running,” said Abdul Majeed Al Khoori, Acting Chief Executive Officer, Abu Dhabi Airports.
“We are extremely proud that we have been awarded this certificate and that we are operating to a level of international excellence as aspired to by all Abu Dhabi Government entities,” he added.
Abu Dhabi Airports is also the first airports company to have received the ISO 9001 Quality Management System, 14001 Environment Management System, and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System across all its airports.
Abu Dhabi Airports’ vision is to be the world’s leading airports group. Being an efficient organization with high performing staff, and delivering world class airport services and infrastructure, are key steps towards achieving that vision.
